Internships

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Community Internship Program at Binghamton University is to help cultivate young leaders with a passion for creativity, success, and self-development. It is intended to supplement education by promoting enrichment of the Asian and Asian American community through a transition into a professional working environment where new skills, capabilities and knowledge can be acquired. The goals are to help students connect to the culture and contributions of the Asian American community, to build ties to the community and support community needs, to provide real-world experience in a particular area of interest in an atmosphere where students can apply learned skills, and to further develop professional as well as interpersonal skills that are difficult to gain in the classroom setting. Through these efforts, the program fosters inspiration and social consciousness.
